We're a small independent coffee shop at 10 Broad Street, Deal CT14 6ER, two minutes from the seafront and a short walk from Deal Castle, the pier and the Middle Street conservation area. We've been Deal's dedicated speciality coffee shop since 2023, and our regulars' verdict is on our Google reviews: the best coffee in Deal.

The coffee

We serve Assembly (Brixton, London) — one of the UK's most respected speciality roasteries — alongside rotating guest roasters. Espresso, filter, and a much-praised flat white, with oat, almond, soy, coconut and pea milk at no extra charge. Fresh pastries and cakes daily, including pastel de nata and our cinnamon buns.

Visiting Deal for the day?

Deal is about 1 hour 30 from London St Pancras by high-speed train. We open at 6:30am every morning — before the town wakes up — so we're the first stop for early trains, seafront sunrises and Saturday market days. On Friday and Saturday we're open late until 9pm for coffee or a glass of wine. Order ahead at ordercoffee.uk for collection.

A cosy 14-seat room in a historic building — perfect for a takeaway coffee to carry to the seafront, a quick bite, or a quiet catch-up over a flat white. We're small on purpose: no WiFi, no laptops culture, not suited to large groups (limited wheelchair accessibility — call ahead and we'll do our best). Dogs welcome.
